Team

There are two of us.

That's the whole company, and for now we like it that way. Two people can keep an entire product in their heads, and nobody has to forward your email to the person who can actually fix things.

Igor

Engineering, product and design

Igor started Jezai and wrote the first version of most things on this site. He likes the unglamorous parts of software: queues that recover on their own, deploys you can roll back, and admin screens that look like somebody cared.

He spends most of his time on how the products fit together, the data pipeline underneath ArtCarli, and InkOnMe from end to end.

Karol Bugajski

Engineering

Karol joined in March 2026 and quickly took over the parts of ArtCarli with the most edge cases: the art shipping calculator, the investment scoring, and moving the platform onto licensed and official data sources.

He is the reason a good share of ArtCarli has tests, and the reason its shipping quotes now say plainly what they do and do not cover.

What we're good at

Data pipelines
Collecting from messy public websites and licensed APIs on a schedule, cleaning the results, and turning them into something a person wants to read. Queues, retries and cost tracking included.
Products built on AI
Language and image models doing one well-defined job, with the approval steps, metering and guardrails that make them safe to put in front of paying customers.
Web and mobile apps
Django and htmx for most things, React and React Native when a product needs them, and enough design care that nobody can tell two backend developers made it.
Keeping it running
Docker, nginx, background workers, backups and monitoring, plus the privacy paperwork that comes with handling people's data in the UK.

How we got here

  1. Jezai starts out building AI automations for small businesses.

  2. Work begins on an art market dashboard that later becomes ArtCarli, and on the first version of InkOnMe, a consumer app for trying tattoos on.

  3. MetaWatch and the KSeF invoice merger get built on the side.

  4. Karol joins.

  5. We build Weekend Atlas in about a day, mostly to see if we can.

  6. ArtCarli clears its list of release blockers.

  7. ArtCarli moves its data onto licensed and official sources.

  8. InkOnMe is rebuilt for tattoo studios, and work starts on BriefDesk.

  9. This website replaces the old agency one.
