This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, jezai.co.uk, and what we do with it. We have kept it short because we collect very little.

Who we are

Jezai, an unincorporated business trading from 37 Waterways House, UB7 7SG, United Kingdom, is the controller of the personal data described here. You can contact us about anything in this policy at contact@jezai.co.uk.

This policy covers this website only. ArtCarli and InkOnMe have their own privacy notices, which explain how those products handle personal data.

When you visit the website

This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. It doesn't load fonts, scripts or images from other companies, so visiting it doesn't tell any third party that you were here.

Like every website, the servers that host it record basic technical information about each request: your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. This is needed to deliver pages and to protect the site against abuse, which is our legitimate interest. These logs are kept by our hosting provider for a short period and are not used to identify or profile visitors.

When you email us

If you email us, we receive your name, email address and whatever you choose to include. We use it to reply to you and to keep a record of our conversation. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, for example if you're asking about a pilot.

We keep correspondence for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up, and delete it within two years of our last contact, unless it becomes part of a customer relationship, in which case the relevant product's privacy notice applies.

Who we share it with

We don't sell personal data or share it for marketing. The only other companies involved are the providers that host this website and our email, which process data on our behalf and under contract. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by UK adequacy regulations or appropriate safeguards such as the International Data Transfer Agreement.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• ask us to correct data that is wrong
• ask us to delete your data
• object to or ask us to restrict how we use it
• ask for your data in a portable format
